A year or two ago Bacci would have received a decent review from me. $5 or $5.50 for a slice and a soda was a good deal. Since Coke came in, they now charge for a drink and the price of a slice went up. So they increased the price and took something away. Pizza was still good, but I will visit this place far less.

It is rare, at least for me, to see such large slices of pizza. I stopped by for lunch, craving a slice of pizza and a soda. It is thin crust pizza with average taste -- good enough. The gal that took my order and delivered my pizza to my table was very pleasant. Would I go again? I would if I lived or worked in the area. Are their better places? Certainly.

First and last time coming to this dump! Came for a slice of pizza. Very large slice for $5.00 with 8oz cup of soda. Ordered slice with pepperoni? took about 10 minutes Good I thought, will get a nice hot slice of pizza. Well took it to go and to eat on the run. Strike 1 luke warm! Strike 2 the cheese taste like imitation cheese it was like mush Stike 3 sauce had no flavor like a slap tomato paste on the pizza Drop third strike crust was like cardboard like frozen pizza!! I've had frozen pizza that was better than this garbage I should have went back and slapped it on their front window and let ot freeze up. t Cuz that's what it was like frozen pizza

I came to baccis on 29mar15 I bought two slices the guy told me 8 minutes and I waited 20 minutes for just two slices I don't like being lied to. I work at ohare airport I will not recommended this to my coworkers.

Not only did it take an hour to deliver a pizza 3 blocks, by it came cold, very unsatisfied.

I was very disappointed with the service here. I am vegetarian and ordered a veggie pizza and a cesar salad for delivery. The man that took my order asked me if I wanted to add chicken to the salad. I explained that I was vegetarian and did not want any meat. I waited over an hour for the food to be delivered and upon receiving the food I realized they put chicken on my salad. I was offended that the chicken was on the salad because I specifically told them no meat. After speaking with the pizza place again they stated they would be sending over another regular cesar salad. After almost 2 hours of waiting, the regular cesar salad had still not arrived. I ended up canceling the salad and asking for my money back. So not only was the pizza mediocre but we never recieved the salad!! I will never eat here again.

$5 out the door for a slice of pizza roughly the size of a medical textbook and a styrofoam shot glass you can refill with Bacci Pizzeria brand pop! You just can't beat it for the price. You can also enjoy their old school arcade games (the 3 of them) in the corner if you are waiting on something else to be made. Its not a lot of frill but very clean and a nice place to sit down and have a quick slice of pizza.

They used to (IMO) have the best beefs in the area! but they recently changed there portions and now the whole thing is waaay to small for the price and they barely put any beef! I emailed the company and they said that they were previously giving "too much" meat. But that doesn't explain the bread size getting smaller. I wont order from them anymore and I used to at least once a month

I used to come here often enough to know the pizza was decent, the wings, tenders, and cheese fries were great. Only bad thing is how can a dine in restaurant have no bathroom?! Not the end of the world for me since I always order to go or pick up but still confusing. Last time I ordered from there the pizza looked off but thought maybe it was just a new cook since the slices were just as big. Well needless to say not only was there an excessive amount of crust that was not covered, the pizza itself tasted different, almost like a frozen pizza. I got the usual cheese fries and the cheese was sour. The pizza was tolerated but I did call for the cheese fries. I was politely told that they forgot to stir the cheese and that's why it tasted like that but they would make me new ones. I knew they were going to open a new can of cheese so I agreed. I was also told they changed the cheese, as well as other items with the new owner. I believe the owner no longer cares about feeding the customers but only about feeding his pockets. The menu is smaller and the items are pre measured so the cook can't even give you a single extra fry. The cheese no longer runs to the edge of the pizza because it probably costs too much for that also. I am a bit delayed in this review but I have not gone back since and won't until it gets a new owner that cares for the people he's feeding. I won't risk getting poisoned with bad cheese and who knows what else again.

Meh. Five dollars for a jumbo slice of pizza and a pop, and a bunch of lunch seating made me think this had all the makings of a win. Instead, I was stuck with cold congealed cheese pizza and some fruit punch. No Dr. Pepper love here...and no Pepsi love...and no Coke love, but I guess a little mystery pop never killed anyone. Anyways, service was non-existent - I'd walk up to the front and the girl behind the register would be on her cell, texting, checking her fingernails, or whatever she could use as an excuse to ignore customers. If you tried ordering from any of the people behind the counter, they'd point you to her. Eventually she'd take the order, and only then would the guys behind the counter grab the pizza. And Dudes Behind the Counter, would it have killed you to spend a minute warming up my pizza? Seriously, being pizza-blocked is not fun.

Havent been here since 2003....nothing has much changed as their slice of pizza is H U G E ! (And alittle oily.) Went here to meet up with a friend....it ws close to closing and there were still a few patrons there chowing down on food. Even saw one woman get mad and lose her composure....my order did get delayed alittle (only cause they made it to go and it was for here and the guy didn't know.) Free refills...place does get....hot inside...especially if you use the bathroom. But it was a good time to enjoy and reminisce. My friend enjoyed her burger as well. Pics I posted. :)

Good prices, quick delivery but mediocre food! I had a small cheese pizza (had better frozen pizzas), a vienna Chicago hot dog (do not recommend if you are looking for authentic Chicago hot dog) and a tiramisu (worst I've ever had). Just spend a little more money and order from Giordano's.

Wanted to try place for the biggest "jumbo slice" around. I'm glad I did! It's close by, about 3 miles away, not only is it a good deal, but it's actually good quality pizza too! 5 bucks gets you a huge slice and free small pop, you can upgrade to a larger size pop for .50 cents. Pepperoni was very good, could barely finish it because it's so humongous!! I will be coming back soon!!

Had lunch here today on a whim with co-workers. Here's the pro's: Good value, fast service, refillable pop, friendly enough staff. Cons: The pizza is nothing special. It's not bad, just not special. Don't let the two stars fool you - it simply means, "I've had better". For those that like a ton of food for a good price, you'll love it. For those seeking Chicago's finest thin pizza, this won't cut it. I'll be back if I'm in the mood for a slice. A gigantic slice!

I have eaten here a few times for lunch and I have not been happy with it. Their pizza is sometimes old at the lunch hour and their salads have been returned a couple of times because of brown lettuce leaves. The manager has kindly replaced my salads and gave me a fresh one which was nice. He often provide better customer service that the counter people who can care less. Don't expect much for the price of this place if you get dragged in their by your co-workers. The price is ok but just make sure you get your order in good condition

I keep thinking of the sign I saw during this trip that says "Taste the Difference" and I'm not sure that's the best slogan here since this was another disappointing eating experience. We've been to Giordano's for Chicago style and it's great but tonight we needed something lighter and were craving pizza so we opted to order from Bacci. Their own motto is "Taste the Bacci Difference" - strangely similar to the Rosemont banners' and just like it, the difference was one I don't care to repeat. The pizza was super greasy and the toppings were flat tasting. We ordered after a long day of photoshoots so were in NEED of food and even so, it didn't hit the spot, except to fill us up. Oh Bacci... :(

" Tin Tin" an employee of Bacci Pizza in Elmwood Park,Il provided us with several slices of Pizza. The slices were cut New York Style in wedges and was 12 inches by 6 inches per slice. The pizza was very good. For one slice and a drink it only cost $5.00. Their largest pizza is 30 inches. They have many to go, specials, which are great for parties or game days. It is worth trying and you will like it.

The food hear is OK, it's nothing really big to rave about. However I was amazed that Bacci's does not joke around when they say that they are the home of the jumbo slice of pizza. You have to see it for yourself to really believe it.

Cheap and tasty pizza. $5 for a drink and a piece of pizza that was the biggest single slice of pizza I have ever eaten.

  • Leocris L.

bacci is probably my fav pizza (non deep dish) so far. good luck dominating the (coffee) table pizza with your buddies. you'll need a bigger car to pick it up, or stick it in the trunk. several locations around, which makes it even better.

    (5)
  • Timothy M.

A good lunch place, better than the Bacci's on Western & Chicago (heresy, I know). The service is VERY fast and there's a plethora of seating options. They also have TVs with news and sports. Lots of patrons who are mixed: business, local, etc. If you're ever stuck at O'Hare and you need a little slice of Chicago, Bacci's on Lawrence (and really this whole little stretch of Schiller Park) will provide.

Imagine a triangle that goes from your armpits to your belly button. Now imagine that triangle is a slice of pizza. Torso-sized pizza! That's about the size of Bacci's famous Jumbo Slice, depending on your armpit/belly button ratio. For $5 you get this monster slice and a "free" drink. Best lunch deal around. They've also got a number of other items on the menu including pasta, hot dogs, burgers and sandwiches, but the pizza is what keeps me coming back. The staff at this particular location are very friendly and efficient. There's usually plenty of places to sit, even during the busy lunch rush. Everytime I bring a Bacci slice back to work, people are like "WOAH! Where'd you get that?!" You too can be the envy of your co-workers, munching away on your torso-sized pizza while they pick at their lame leftovers.

You can't beat the prices. You get a huge slice with a drink(refills included)for less than 4 bucks. The place has changed a bit since it opened a few years ago. It was great when it first opened. It was clean and the manager kept the local punks out. The last time I was there, it seemed that the local punks were now working there and having friends come in to socialize. The cook seemed more interested in what his buddies were doing to pay attention to my Eggplant sammie. It was burned and somehow cold. I took it back to the counter and got another one. That was not much better and the fries were cold. Went back one more time after that and the place was overrun by little gang banger types. No more for me! Too bad, because the food was not bad for a quickie place.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
